CNN’s attacks on Donald Trump are ramping up.
The network believes the coronavirus could be the event that finally ends Trump’s presidency.
But one CNN host tried to attack Trump on the coronavirus and quickly regretted it.
Rahm Emanuel, former mayor of Chicago and chief of staff to Barack Obama, said, “You never want a serious crisis to go to waste.”
The Democrats are embracing that line of thinking whole-heartedly regarding the coronavirus.
The disease that originated in Wuhan, China has spread all over the globe while baffling world health officials.
The Democrats predictably have used the coronavirus in an attempt to score political points.
They first blamed Trump for shutting down travel to and from China where the coronavirus rampaged across the country.
Now they’re blaming Trump for not stopping the spread of the disease.
Surgeon General Jerome Adams appeared on CNN with Jake Tapper to address concerns about the coronavirus, and Tapper immediately went after Trump.
Tapper criticized Trump for wanting to keep potentially infected people on a cruise ship from spreading further illness.
Tapper asked Adams, “Is the President’s desire to artificially keep the numbers low by keeping Americans who are off the coast out of the United States? Is that desire impacting health decisions to help save these Americans who have coronavirus or who could possibly have it?”
Adams quickly shot down Tapper’s ridiculous question.
“When the President comes in, he makes it clear that he wants the best advice from his health experts,” Adams said. “As far as the cruise ships are concerned, our priorities are, number one, making sure people who are on those cruise ships and who need medical attention can get it. And we’ve flown people off the ships, we’ve flown CDC teams into the ships to help.”
Adams isn’t the only health official who’s said that Trump and Vice President Pence have deferred to doctors with regard to the coronavirus.
Adams continued, “Number two, we want to get people off the ships as quickly and safely as we can. And number three, we want to protect our communities. And that’s a delicate balance that requires the cooperation of many different partners, the Department of Defense, Coast Guard, and others. But again, we want to make sure we’re taking care of those people on the ship and in a way that protects them, but also protects communities.”
Tapper’s entire narrative was completely defeated.
He still tried to politicize the issue, but Adams wasn’t having any of it.
Democrats will stoop to any low to stop Trump from winning re-election in November.
Some are openly cheering the spread of the virus in order to achieve their political gains.
The truth is the Democrats don’t have a strategy for dealing with the coronavirus.
They’re simply sitting back and lobbing insults at the Trump administration.
But as more health officials push back, their partisan game will be exposed.
