CNN is firing the cannons at Donald Trump again.
The network pushed as hard as it could to have Trump removed from office.
Now CNN wants to impeach Trump again for one ridiculous reason.
Democrats are determined to overturn the results of the 2016 election, and they’re willing to do it by any means necessary.
Instead of letting the American people decide in November, Democrats are determined to impeach Donald Trump eight months before the general election.
And their efforts to remove Trump from office began the instant he was inaugurated.
Minutes after his inauguration, The Washington Post wrote a piece saying that the case for impeachment had begun.
The Democrats finally got their wish when they impeached Trump in the House over his benign phone call with the newly elected president of Ukraine.
That nonsensical impeachment was DOA in the Republican-controlled Senate, but now the Democrats want another bite at the apple.
CNN is calling for Trump’s second impeachment for a ridiculous reason.
Former Trump associate Roger Stone received a sentencing recommendation of nine years in prison from the Department of Justice regarding process crimes he committed during the Russiagate hoax.
The sentence was absurdly harsh, especially considering the investigation was bogus and politically-motivated from the beginning.
Trump tweeted that nine years was too harsh of a sentence, and the Democrats blew their top.
CNN political analyst David Gergen suggested that Trump’s tweet about Stone was worse than Watergate.
This is one of the favorite ploys of Democrats.
They always try to hype up anything a Republican politician does as “worse than Watergate.”
That’s the Democrats’ basis for wanting to impeach Trump again, which is insane.
Sending a tweet doesn’t compare in any way to Richard Nixon actively covering up a crime.
Nevertheless, Gergen tried to make that case.
He argued, “It’s almost every big decision that’s coming through the Justice Department now has to be sent through the White House and check out with the president and then do what the president — do the president’s bidding. We’ve never — we didn’t see that in Watergate. This is why this is more sinister.”
That analysis is absurd.
Attorney General William Barr already stated that Trump’s tweet had no bearing on any decisions that the DOJ made.
Also, Democrats didn’t bat an eye when Barack Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder said, “I’m still the president’s wingman, so I’m there with my boy.”
Democrats said nothing when Obama used executive privilege to shield Holder from testifying in the “Fast and Furious” scandal after Holder was held in contempt of Congress.
For Democrats, malfeasance is only a one-way street.
Whatever the Democrats are actually doing, they’re accusing the Republicans of doing.
They get away with it because they know their media allies will carry water for them.
If Trump wins reelection, and his chances are better based on his rising approval rating, the Democrats will be looking to orchestrate yet another impeachment on frivolous grounds.
