Democrats in Congress plotted from Day One to remove Donald Trump from office.
They plotted impeachment, a forced resignation and even arrest.
But things got serious when Mike Pence heard the one awful message he never wanted to hear.
One of the left’s most far-fetched schemes to remove President Trump involves the using of the 25th Amendment to forcefully eject Donald Trump from office.
Fake news reporters seized on this scheme when Deep State loyalist Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein allegedly polled cabinet members about using the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump from office after Trump fired former FBI Director James Comey.
So-called “journalists” resurrected the 25th Amendment claims after President Trump in the Oval Office said his father Fred was born in Germany.
The President made a mistake, it was his grandfather that was born in Germany, but the fake news seized on the slip-up to claim President Trump was mentally ill.
MSNBC’s “Deadline: White House” host Nicolle Wallace – who allegedly is a Republican, ranted and raved that Trump’s misstatement meant he was mentally ill and Vice President Mike Pence and the cabinet needed to invoke the 25th Amendment immediately.
“I don’t agree with him, I don’t support him, I don’t condone the decimation and the debasement of the office of the presidency, but I’m worried about him,” Wallace raged.
Wallace’s unhinged ranting droned on.
She added, “I know the date and city that my parents were born, because I filled out background forms, obviously he hasn’t. His father was not born in Germany…He didn’t just get it wrong he made up in his mind a magical town in Germany. His father was born in New York. If I know that, surely he should. And something about windmills and cancer. It’s not my job to worry about him, but as a citizen of this country, I am.”
The 25th Amendment is a pipedream.
Even if a majority of the cabinet and Vice President Mike Pence invoked the Amendment to remove Trump, Trump could reinstate himself by submitting a letter to the Senate pro tempore and the Speaker of the House that he is fit to resume his duties, and Congress then votes.
And there is no chance both Houses of Congress could muster the two-thirds votes to remove Trump.
But this type of unhinged conspiracy mongering is a staple of fake news networks like CNN and MSNBC.
CNN’s so-called “media reporter” Brian Stelter even got in on this act.
Stelter is a conspiracy theorist and misinformation artist that uses his platform at a supposed news network to claim President Trump is mentally ill.
In the past, Stelter echoed Wallace’s hysterics that Trump making an error about which relative was born in Germany meant the President was mentally unfit to discharge his duties.
In 2017, Stelter claimed – without citing evidence – that President Trump was not of sound mind.
During a monologue on his misnamed “Reliable Sources” program Stelter whined, “Questions that feel out of bounds, off limits, too hot for TV. Questions like these: Is the President of the United States a racist? Is he suffering from some kind of illness? Is he fit for office? And if he’s unfit, then what?”
MSNBC and CNN like to put forward a public image of being “news” networks while Fox News is the home for tin foil hat wearing conspiracy theorists and pro-Trump hacks that just go on the air and shout MAGA slogans.
But that does not square with what CNN and MSNBC put on the air.
Their hosts routinely traffic in conspiracy theories, hoaxes and misinformation.
More and more Americans are realizing that CNN and MSNBC act as the rapid response team for the Democrat Party and are tuning them out.
