Nancy Pelosi was just betrayed by one of her closest allies.
This double cross came at the worst possible time.
And Pelosi broke out in tears when she heard this confession.
Democrats can always count on the support of the fake news media to carry water for their agenda.
Nowhere is this more true than on the issue of immigration.
So-called “reporters” become emotionally invested in defeating the Trump administration’s “America First” immigration program.
That’s why everyone sat up and took notice when the high prince of globalism in the fake news media – New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman wrote an op-ed admitting that the border wall was a necessary part of any immigration reform agenda.
Friedman wrote that “indeed, if you are pro-immigration as I am, you have to acknowledge that this haphazard “system” has overwhelmed the Border Patrol and our immigration courts and contributed to Trump’s election. A May 2016 poll by the Public Religion Research Institute and The Atlantic found that 48 percent of white working-class Americans agree that “things have changed so much that I often feel like a stranger in my own country.”
Friedman’s fellow fake news reporters were so shocked that CNN’s Wolf Blitzer invited him on his program to explain his about-face on the issue of the border wall.
“A big gate, a smart gate and a compassionate gate,” Friedman told Blitzer. “I’m as radically pro-immigration as they come. But it’s pretty clear to me that unless we can assure a significant number of Americans that we can control our border, we’re never going to have the proper immigration flow I think we need, we desire, and that we have actually a moral responsibility — given our history as a nation of immigrants and a refuge for people fleeing persecution.”
So-called “mainstream” media reporters are true-believer Democrat Party activists.
They love to cite the poem on the Statue of Liberty as if it is equals actual government policy.
CNN’s Jim Acosta pulled this routine in a heated debate with White House advisor Stephen Miller back in 2017.
They love to shout slogans like “America is a nation of immigrants” and “diversity is our strength” while smearing anyone that disagrees as racist.
But few of them consider the consequences of unlimited immigration.
Mass migration drives down the wages of American workers and –as Friedman admits – contributes to many U.S. citizens feeling a loss of national social and cultural cohesion.
Donald Trump plans on making the wall and passing real immigration reform that secures the border, cracks down on illegal immigration and allows for merit based immigration a centerpiece of his 2020 campaign.
Pelosi and the Democrats were counting on a united fake news media front to constantly assail this platform as racist and xenophobic.
But that was blown to smithereens when one of the most prominent globalists in the liberal media admitted Trump had a point.
