The Wuhan coronavirus has deepened the Democrats’ hatred of Donald Trump.
They’ve weaponized the global pandemic in a way that’s truly appalling.
But one Never-Trump host shocked Democrats with what he said about a Trump briefing.
The Democrats have had serious discussions about banning Donald Trump’s coronavirus briefings.
The briefings are drawing massive ratings and Trump’s poll numbers are rising.
The majority of Americans approve of his handling of the outbreak and more Americans trust Trump over the corporate press.
This is precisely why big media wants to limit the briefings and present edited clips that feed their narrative instead.
Hosts like MSNBC’s Chris Hayes and CNN’s Don Lemon have openly advocated for suppressing the press conferences, and NPR in Seattle has already stopped airing them live.
The hubris of the so-called mainstream media openly talking about censoring the President of the United States is truly breathtaking.
However, one Never-Trump host had a surprising response to a recent Trump briefing.
Trump gave the mic to MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell because his company will be using their facilities to produce 50,000 masks for health professionals.
During his impromptu address, Lindell thanked Trump and praised God.
Lindell is a recovering drug addict who became a Christian, turned his life around, and launched a multi-million-dollar business. But because Lindell supports Trump and invoked the name of God, he was excoriated by the left, including MSNBC host Joy Reid.
But Reid’s colleague Joe Scarborough broke ranks and had positive words for Lindell.
Scarborough said, “Everybody was attacking this MyPillow guy…Here’s my thought: If you’re going to make 50,000 masks and give them to doctors and nurses on the front lines in New York City, I’m fine with you going up.”
“Say whatever you want to say…Just get the masks to the people on the front line, and we as Americans should salute anybody doing that. I’m not making 50,000 masks. If I had the capability of making 50,000 masks, I’d like to make 50,000 masks. I can’t. That guy can. I salute him.”
Scarborough’s departure from his daily rancor toward anything associated with Trump is a surprise – he literally quit the Republican Party because of Trump.
But this is the attitude the country needs at the moment.
Lindell is stepping up to assist where the country needs it. His political views or his faith shouldn’t be derided during a time of crisis.
Unfortunately, the vitriol coming from the Democrats remains at toxically high levels.
As encouraging as Scarborough’s comments about Lindell were, he’s also the same host who recently said that Trump and the Republicans want vets and senior citizens to die.
American needs more good faith appreciation for those who are legitimately trying to help in the face of this unprecedented crisis.
