Donald Trump is being attacked from all sides.
Never-Trump Republicans have teamed up with Democrats to slander Trump and damage his re-election bid.
And Never-Trumpers just got ripped to shreds for spreading fake news.
Trump’s enemies on the left and right are using every dirty tactic imaginable to make sure he doesn’t get elected again.
National polls show Trump underwater in many key states, but there’s reason to believe the polling is as wrong now as it was in 2016.
One factor to the polling is the so-called mainstream media’s persistent lies about Donald Trump.
The corporate press alone gives Democrats an advantage of a few points in every national election.
And now disgruntled Never-Trumpers, mostly comprised of the neocon war hawks that were responsible for implementing and championing the disastrous Iraq War, are attacking Trump with an effort called the Lincoln Project.
One of the disgruntled Republicans behind the effort is CNN hack Rick Wilson, who recently got destroyed when he tried to go after Kayleigh McEnany; Twitter users dug up old tweets of Wilson on a fishing trip with a cooler covered with the Confederate flag.
The Lincoln Project recently put up false information that Donald Trump knew about an alleged bounty program to kill American soldiers that was offered by Russian soldiers to Taliban fighters.
The NSA and other intelligence officials said the story is dubious, but that didn’t stop the Lincoln Project and the corporate press from running with the story as fact.
And now The Lincoln Project is back at it again with false information, but this time they got busted by Twitter for their lies.
Typically, only posts favorable to Trump are censored by Twitter, but the Lincoln Project’s video was so bad, Twitter had no choice but to flag it.
The Lincoln Project presented a video of Trump’s Fourth of July speech at Mount Rushmore with deceptive edits.
The video tried to suggest that Trump believed Operation Desert Storm took place in Vietnam.
Twitter’s events page released the following statement:
“During his Independence Day address, US President Donald Trump listed a number of wars the nation has fought in, referencing the Vietnam War and the first Gulf War. Reporters from Snopes and CNN confirmed that a short clip from his speech being shared online is misleading because it has been edited in a way that makes it appear as though the president says Operation Desert Storm took place in Vietnam. A member of Trump’s campaign shared a longer clip from the speech to show the president listing the wars separately.”
This is the strategy of the Democrats and the Never-Trumpers – death by a thousand cuts.
They tell so many lies that it’s almost impossible to debunk them all, especially in real time.
The web of lies creates a general impression that everything is terrible at all times.
It’s an effective tactic and it’s why the corporate press is the enemy of the American people.
The neocons are scared.
If Trump wins again, it will be a total repudiation of their ideology, so they’re lashing out in deceitful ways.
