Robert Mueller turned in his final report and all of Washington is dealing with the fallout.
Democrats demand impeachment and Republicans want an investigation in to how this witch hunt started in the first place.
Robert Mueller found himself at the center of this storm when he was ambushed with the one question that ruined his life.
Throughout the Mueller investigation, no one ever heard directly from Robert Mueller himself.
His office issued rare puplic comments through a spokesman.
But the majority of what the American people learned about the probe came from selective leaks from individuals involved with the case at various levels.
Critics suspected many of these leakers were FBI agents or Democrat prosecutors that Mueller hired.
Now that his final report is available for public consumption, the fake news media wants Mueller on the record.
To that end, MSNBC “reporter” Mike Viqueira stalked Mueller on Easter Sunday at the church where he worships.
When the special counsel – along with his wife – left Easter service, Viqueira pounced and descended upon him with a microphone in hand and a camera crew in tow.
Viqueira set the scene with an on-air stand up with weekend achor Alex Witt.
“Well, we understood that Robert Mueller was just across Lafayette Square here from downtown Washington at St. John’s Episcopal Church,” Viqueira reported on the air. “He’s been seen there before over the last several weeks attending services. He was there with Mrs. Mueller at the 9:00 a.m. service. We had a camera crew waiting outside. It was, of course, Easter service. And, yes, we did surprise director Mueller upon his exiting of the church.”
MSNBC then showed footage of Viqueira buzzing around Mueller peppering him with questions about why he didn’t indict Donald Trump for obstruction of justice.
Viqueira hounded Mueller and wife ranting, “If it were anybody but the president, would Mr. Trump be indicted, sir? Now that you have finished — sir, why didn’t you make a recommendation to Congress one way or the other? Did the attorney general accurately characterize your positions on conspiracy and obstruction, sir?”
Many fake news reporters applauded Viqueira for hounding Mueller at church on Easter Sunday.
Viqueira even sounded pleased with himself as he wrapped up his segment with Witt stating, “I think we can characterize director Mueller’s attitude as tight lipped and perhaps not interested in talking to me. It was after all Easter Sunday and he was after all coming out of Easter services. But nevertheless, that’s the first time we have heard from Bob Mueller in quite some time, even if his only comment was no comment.”
But this episode was another black mark for the so-called “mainstream” media.
Viqueira – and the “reporters” that cheered him on – don’t care about the significance of Easter to Christians.
There used to be a line that reporters would not cross in pursuit of a story.
Faith and family tended to be off limits.
Reporters wouldn’t swarm at the school where the children of the subject of the story attended.
Nor would journalists harass people as they left Church because Americans understood the need to respect a house of worship and people’s ability to spend time with Christ uninterrupted.
But that’s all out the window in the name of trying to bring down Donald Trump.
