It is well known that MSNBC is a far-left network whose on-air talent hates Donald Trump and his supporters.
But one program on MSNBC crossed the line from opposition to possible criminality.
And someone on MSNBC may go to jail over this sick plot to kill Donald Trump.
MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” helps set the table for the fake news media’s daily anti-Trump talking points.
The show has few viewers other than the liberal elites in Washington and New York.
During a recent broadcast, the show had on the three Never-Trump Republicans challenging the President in the Republican primary.
Former Massachusetts Governor and RINO Bill Weld went on an extended rant about the fake news media scandal surrounding Donald Trump asking the Ukrainian President to investigate Joe and Hunter Biden for their corrupt dealings.
Weld flew off the handle and demanded the government put Donald Trump to death for treason.
“[That is treason. It’s treason, pure and simple and the penalty for treason under the U.S. Code is death. That’s the only penalty. The penalty on the Constitution is removal from office and that might look like a pretty good alternative to the President if he can work out a plea deal,” Weld ranted.
Fake “Republican” analyst Elise Jordan did not push back on Weld’s desire to see Donald Trump executed.
Instead, Jordan encouraged Weld by asking him to explain how the government would administer the death penalty to the President.
“Governor Weld, you went a little bit further than just impeachment in your prior comments And I just want to continue with that a bit. You said that Donald Trump has committed treason and the penalty for treason under American law is death. Do you — what’s the legal framework here? Have you looked into this? What — how do you see this proceeding?” Jordan asked.
“Well, the legal framework is under the U.S. Code. The only penalty for treason is death. It’s spelled out in a statute. Under the Constitution as you know, grounds for removal from office, impeachment and removal from any federal office, are treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanors. We don’t have to worry about bribery anymore although I think he’s committed that. We don’t have to worry about other high crimes and misdemeanors although I think he’s committed many. He’s such a lawless man. We’ve got treason and we don’t have to dribble around the court,” Weld ranted.
It is a federal crime to threaten the President of the United States.
Title 18, Section 871 reads, “Whoever knowingly and willfully deposits for conveyance in the mail or for a delivery from any post office or by any letter carrier any letter, paper, writing, print, missive, or document containing any threat to take the life of, to kidnap, or to inflict bodily harm upon the President of the United States, the President-elect, the Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President of the United States, or the Vice President-elect, or knowingly and willfully otherwise makes any such threat against the President, President-elect, Vice President or other officer next in the order of succession to the office of President, or Vice President-elect, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.”
No one on the “Morning Joe” set thought to correct Weld or say it was inappropriate to threaten the life of the President.
But had this taken place on Fox News and a guest made similar comments about Barack Obama, CNN and the rest of the fake news media would’ve spent days tweeting righteous indignation about the violent rhetoric of the right and how Fox News is poison to American democracy.
But because Weld threatened a President the fake news media hates, there’s only silence.
Liberal Propaganda Exposed will continue to cover the fake news media’s double standards and biased “journalism.”
