More cases of the Wuhan coronavirus are cropping up across the country.
Democrats are looking for a scapegoat, and Donald Trump is their main target.
But The New York Times just blamed the coronavirus outbreak on something that will infuriate you even more.
It didn’t take any time for the Democrats to politicize the Wuhan coronavirus outbreak.
Early calls for bipartisan efforts immediately melted away when the so-called mainstream media trained its sights on the Trump administration.
One MSNBC legal analyst even suggested Trump should be charged with criminally negligent homicide once he leaves office because of the coronavirus.
But The New York Times took the insanity to another level when they blamed the spread of the pandemic on evangelical Christians in America.
In an absurd piece titled “The Road to Coronavirus Hell Was Paved By Evangelicals,” op-ed Katherine Stewart said that religious nationalism and science denialism are the roots of the coronavirus spread.
This is preposterous for a number of reasons.
Her evidence hangs on a pastor in Louisiana handing out handkerchiefs to a large congregation.
However, that pales in comparison to the issues regarding young Spring Breakers and other partygoers defying quarantine orders.
Also, New York health officials downplayed the severity of the outbreak and encouraged people to celebrate the Chinese Lunar New Year.
Although, New York health officials aren’t entirely to blame because they were working on bogus information from China and the World Health Organization (WHO).
Stewart fails to place any blame on China for their role in the outbreak; China is ruled by an authoritarian atheist government and suppressed information about the virus.
China let 5 million people leave Wuhan province, knowing that they were potential carriers of a highly contagious coronavirus.
This isn’t even the first time malfeasance from the Chinese government has led to an infectious disease outbreak.
But according to the Times, the real problem is Evangelicals and their “anti-science” stances.
Meanwhile, it’s the left that’s trying to convince everyone that there are no biological differences between men and women.
It’s also the left that denies climate science from authoritative voices who disagree with the doomsday proclamations of motivated environmentalists.
Stewart also blames Jerry Falwell Jr. for downplaying the coronavirus at the time, but the Democrats and their media allies were doing the same thing.
Big media ran pieces about how the seasonal flu is worse.
They also criticized Trump for overreacting and barring travel to and from China.
Stewart’s inane column is simply a ham-fisted way for her to gain notoriety for her new book about the “insidious” rise of the religious right.
Meanwhile, atheism is at an all-time high in the country, a trend that’s reaping alarming results.
Religion is the strongest bulwark against the left’s insane and politically motivated notions about sex and gender.
This is the left’s latest attempt to chip away at religious liberty in this country, and using a global pandemic to do it is
