Maybe there’s something wrong with Fox News.
One would think they’re letting the liberals infest their ranks and take over from within.
And Trump is seeing red after one Fox News journalist said the unthinkable about him.
Now keep in mind, this journalist is only there to help maintain Fox’s commitment to fair and balanced journalism.
If Fox didn’t keep a liberal journalist like this in their stable, then the critics of the news organization would be right to claim the network is a state-run mouthpiece for the Trump administration.
But that doesn’t mean Trump likes it when these liberal hacks take unfair cheap shots at him.
Juan Williams, who serves as a columnist for The Hill, New York Times, and Fox News, seems to believe that when Robert Mueller appears before the Senate tomorrow, he’s going to open up a can of worms for Trump and the GOP.
In an op-ed published on TheHill.com, Williams is confident Mueller is going to lay out undeniable evidence that the President needs to be impeached.
And he implies that if the GOP doesn’t get onboard with the calls for impeachment, they’ll end up on the wrong side of history.
“Based on his May press conference, Mueller is almost certain to say he believes “the constitution requires a process other than the criminal justice system to formally accuse a sitting president of wrongdoing.”
That “other” process is called impeachment.
And you all know that your fellow conservative, Rep. Justin Amash of Michigan, took the time to read the Mueller report. He concluded it was time to begin impeachment proceedings.
So, House Republicans: Are you willing to join a hard-right leader, a co-founder of the Freedom Caucus, and put love of country above fear of being bullied by Trump?
Or is Rep. Steve Chabot (R-Ohio) right when he practically told his party colleagues to close their eyes, predicting that ‘a few people could change their opinion, but overall I think it’s not likely.'”
Williams is trying to drive a wedge between the GOP Senate and President Trump.
So of course Trump wouldn’t be happy about this.
As we all know, the Mueller report concluded that no collusion occurred between Trump and the Russians nor did he obstruct justice.
Williams, like many of the Democrats, is fanning the flames of a dying fire.
Ask any unbiased individual what they think will happen with Mueller appearing before Congress and they’ll tell you there’s no chance anything is going to happen to Trump.
Add that to Trump’s approval rating (up 6% since April when the final report was in the headlines) and you’ll realize these are the last gasps of a party dying to see their wishes come true.
Trump may be seeing red, but the Democrats are seeing their fantasy of getting rid of Trump taking its last breath.
