CNN is helping tear the country apart.
Once again, the liberal network has shown that they will say anything if they believe it will damage Donald Trump.
And one CNN host went on an insane pro-violence rant.
Protests for the murder of Minneapolis citizen George Floyd have tragically devolved into rioting and looting.
Family members of Floyd have called for peaceful protesting, but the so-called mainstream media are doing everything they can to stoke the fires of division and hatred.
CNN host Don Lemon is one of the worst perpetrators of this.
During a recent monologue, Lemon gave a half-hearted condemnation of violence, while condoning it at the same time.
This amounts to a wink and a nod at the people causing destruction.
Lemon said, “Perhaps this is some sort of mechanism for a restructure in our country or for some sort of change in our country for us to deal with whatever we need to deal with in this country.”
This is a disturbing justification for violence.
Civilians as well as law enforcement officers are being beaten and even killed; one federal officer in Oakland was murdered execution-style.
Also, small businesses and livelihoods are being destroyed.
Ironically, the people on the left that claim to represent the middle class are cheering with glee as middle-class businesses go up in flames.
Hard-working, law-abiding citizens in the communities that are burning are the ones who are suffering, as are the people who patronize those businesses.
But nobody in the so-called mainstream media are looking out for their interests.
The press is more interested in glorifying violent rioters and looters as freedom fighters in the freest and most prosperous country in world history.
This isn’t the first time Lemon has flirted with violent extremists.
He and CNN colleague Chris Cuomo ran interference for the domestic terror group Antifa.
The network was largely silent after independent journalist Andy Ngo was jumped by a horde of Antifa members.
Ngo ended up in the hospital and suffered severe brain injuries.
Acts of violent aggression should not be condoned by the press, but that’s exactly what’s happening.
Part of the problem is that these useful idiots don’t really understand what Antifa is as an organization.
They’re violent communists who have attacked citizens as well as government facilities.
Ironically, protesters attacked the CNN building in Atlanta, and reporters at the network condemned the actions in no uncertain terms.
So when the fight came to their doorstep, their posture changed.
Atlanta-based rapper Mike Render, who goes by the stage name “Killer Mike,” ripped CNN during an emotional press conference where he called for peace.
Render said, “I’d like to say to CNN right now, karma’s a mother…Stop feeding fear and anger every day. Stop making people feel so fearful. Give them hope.”
People who care about the affected communities are calling for peace, while the people who don’t seem to care at all just want to watch them burn.
