CNN can’t afford any more scandals and missteps.
The network ratings are in the tank and its credibility lies in tatters.
And now one CNN host ruined his career with this shocking on-air confession.
CNN’s Brian Stelter is the network’s “media reporter” and host of the Sunday morning media wrap up show “Reliable Sources.”
Since CNN plucked Stelter from the New York Times his visibility on television and social media increased and he became one of the most influential media voices in the far-left.
Stelter is not so much a media reporter as a media “explainer” and Fox News critic.
His show and online reporting consists of two dominant narratives – namely that Fox News is bad and cleaning up the messes made by the so-called “mainstream” media by explaining how covering the news from a liberal point of view is really just “telling the truth.”
But Stelter was confronted with a media mess that led him to make a reputation-ruining mistake.
Americans were horrified of the video and images that emerged from Portland over the weekend where left-wing members of Antifa pummeled conservative journalist Andy Ngo and threw chemical weapons at him.
Ngo ended up in the hospital and his lawyer reported he suffered from brain bleed.
Journalists like the New York Times Charlie Warzel defended Antifa by claiming Ngo ‘had it coming’ by trying to report on Antifa.
On CNN, Stelter and other fake news reports like Jim Acosta and April Ryan routinely lie to the American people that they are under attack.
CNN equates Donald Trump calling the media names with violence as Acosta, Ryan, and Stelter present the press as fearing for their safety.
It’s all lies.
But when liberal protesters savagely beat up a journalist Stelter was forced to confront the situation.
And what he said left millions of Americans fuming.
Stelter took on the “he asked for” defense of Antifa by giving voice to the left-wing attacks on Ngo as being a “troublemaker.”
“One more important story that you need to know about before I take a break,” said Stelter. “This is a protest that turned violent against a member of the media in Portland, Oregon, this weekend.”
“Conservative journalist Andy Ngo was out there covering rival protests on Saturday. Antifa on one side, right wing figures on the other side,” the “Reliable Sources” host added. “But as the demonstrations clashed, protesters, it appears to be Antifa protesters, then attacked Ngo.”
“He’s been out there in the past, he has been covering protests in Portland for quite some time. His critics say he’s there to cause trouble, but that’s unacceptable,” Stelter continued. “The idea that he would be attacked, that he would be bloodied in that way: Unacceptable, period. And it’s important that everyone make that clear, even left wing critics who don’t like him, and things like that.”
But while Stelter labeled the Proud Boys group Antifa wanted to fight in Portland as “right wing” he gave no such ideological label to Antifa.
Antifa is a domestic terrorist organization that high ranking Democrats such as national party deputy chairman Keith Ellison have embraced.
Multiple CNN anchors also handed Antifa their stamp of approval.

Even though Stelter claimed what happened in Portland was “disturbing” his choice of words – and how he framed the attack by refusing to label Antifa as part of the organized and official Democrat coalition – left many Americans with the impression that Stelter was trying to soft-peddle the power and influence of Antifa’s connections to the left and the support it received from CNN’s newsroom.
Liberal Propaganda Exposed will continue to cover the so-called “mainstream media’s” left-wing bias.
