CNN has done everything it can to put Joe Biden in the White House.
They were part of a media apparatus that lied repeatedly to help the Democrats reclaim power.
Now one CNN host said something unhinged about Trump and the 2020 election.
Studies have shown that over 90% of CNN coverage is negative toward Donald Trump.
But not only is the coverage negative, it’s over-the-top.
Proof of that came when host Fareed Zakaria compared Trump’s refusal to concede to pre-Nazi Germany.
Zakaria said:
“The historical parallel that seems most appropriate today is a very dark one. After Germany surrendered at the end of World War I, ultra-right-wing groups concocted the myth that Germany was actually on the verge of winning the war in November 1918 but surrendered because of a conspiracy to destroy the country plotted by certain communists and Jews.”
Democrats and their media allies are masters of projection.
They’ve called Trump an illegitimate president who only defeated Hillary Clinton because of collusion with Russia.
Some leftists went so far as to call Trump a literal Russian asset.
Meanwhile, Democrats have been parading Stacey Abrams around as the actual governor of Georgia even though she lost by 50,000 votes two years ago.
All of a sudden, not conceding in the face of massive voter irregularities while the legal process plays out is tantamount to pre-Nazi Germany.
Zakaria is gaslighting the American people, something the corporate press does repeatedly.
He’s not even the only CNN anchor to make the absurd comparison in the last few days.
CNN host Christiane Amanpour compared the Trump administration to Kristallnacht when German Jews were killed and arrested in a precursor to the Final Solution.
Amanpour said:
“It was the Nazis’ warning shot across the bow of our human civilization that led to genocide against a whole identity and in that tower of burning books, it led to an attack of fact, knowledge, history, and truth…After four years of a modern-day assault on those same values by Donald Trump, the Biden-Harris team pledges a return to norms, including the truth.”
But again, it’s the left that’s calling for people’s names to be put on lists.
It’s the left that wants to burn books for “hate speech.”
It’s the left that’s censoring stories on social media and promoting unscientific nonsense.
Meanwhile, Trump got a larger share of black voters, Latino voters, Asian voters, LGBT voters, and got 9 million more votes than he did in 2016.
Trump also has Jewish grandchildren, moved the American embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, had a town in Israel named after him, and brokered historic peace deals between Israel and several Arab states.
Nevertheless, the ridiculous Nazi narrative persists.
The overheated rhetoric from leftists has spun out of control.
When people are told repeatedly that their ideological opponents are genocidal Nazis, of course things are going to get violent.
