The Wuhan virus has done devastating damage to the United States.
The Democrats and their media apparatus are invested in making the pandemic worse.
But things didn’t go too well when one CNN host went after a Trump official about the virus.
World leaders across the globe have seen a spike in their popularity amid the coronavirus outbreak.
Donald Trump is the exception because the American press is literally out to destroy his presidency.
Even though America has handled the virus comparable to (if not better than) other western countries, the corporate press is trying to hang every death on his head while.
CNN is one of the worst offenders of this smear tactic.
During the early stages of the pandemic, the press didn’t come out against Trump full bore.
Since then, Bash has gotten back on message.
She recently had Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos on to discuss the issue of children returning to schools.
It was clear Bash intended to play hardball—something almost always exclusive to Republican guests—but DeVos beat back her criticisms.
The Democrats want lockdowns in place for as long as possible because they believe it damages Trump, so they’re in no hurry to send children back to school.
Bash opened her show with a recorded interview from a school official in Fairfax County, Virginia who said the county would need five times as much building space to follow CDC social distancing guidelines.
DeVos pointed that the guidelines are flexible and that she was perfectly willing to consult with Fairfax County alongside the CDC in order to get kids back in school.
Bash was dissatisfied at this answer and just repeated what the school official said.
Devos responded, “There is nothing in the data that would suggest that kids being back in school is dangerous to them…Kids need to be in school. They need to be learning. They need to be moving ahead. And we can’t — we cannot be paralyzed and not allow that or not be intent on that happening.”
Not only are young children more likely by orders of magnitude to die of the seasonal flu than the coronavirus, there’s little evidence to show that children are super-spreaders for the virus.
Democrats are catastrophizing the virus in every way they possibly can.
But DeVos is no stranger to taking on tough challenges.
Of all of Trump’s initial cabinet picks, DeVos faced the fiercest confirmation battle because her charter schools background posed the greatest threat to the teachers unions – which essentially run the Democrat Party.
The data shows that kids can, and should, go back to school.
Keeping them cooped up indefinitely is bad for their development and it puts poor students who need in-person teaching at a disadvantage.
