CNN’s ratings are circling the drain.
Their credibility is shot and they’ve been forced to lay off many employees.
Now CNN recently made one desperate unhinged remark about Fox News.
The late conservative author and commentator Charles Krauthammer once remarked that Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch discovered a niche market: half the country.
And liberals can’t stand it.
Prior to the rise of the internet and YouTube, Fox News and talk radio were essentially the only easily accessible bulwarks to a complete liberal media monopoly.
It’s not enough that the left has most major newspapers, CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NPR, and many other outlets, they want full-blown liberal propaganda on every network.
Fox News provides a counterweight to left-wing bias, and for that reason, Fox News is under relentless attack from the left.
The latest attack involves CNN senior media reporter Oliver Darcy.
Appearing on CNN host Brian Stelter’s laughably titled show “Reliable Sources,” Darcy said, “And I actually kind of wonder, Lachlan Murdoch, you know, the head of Fox, how does he really look at himself in the mirror every morning knowing that that poison is his contribution to society?”
This is the same Darcy who attempted to break into conservative media, but couldn’t get a gig anywhere, and now he spends his days at CNN attempting to get conservative voices censored.
Darcy’s hate-filled language isn’t out of character for Stelter’s show, which is supposed to serve as a media watchdog program, but smears the right and details how “good” of a job the liberal media are doing instead.
Stelter recently had a guest on that claimed the Trump administration would be responsible for more deaths than Stalin, Hitler, and Mao.
A CNN contributor literally said Trump would kill more people than the three most prolific murderers of the 20th century.
Stelter just sat there and didn’t offer any pushback to that asinine statement.
When he was called out for his response, Stelter gave the convenient excuse that there was a technical issue and he simply didn’t hear the comment.
CNN is flailing in the ratings, often finishing behind Nickelodeon reruns.
They spend more time taking shots at Fox News than actually covering the news.
Because of people like Darcy and hatchet job outfits like Media Matters, Fox News sponsors are consistently being threatened with boycotts.
Tucker Carlson is a particular target of their ire because he’s effective at what he does.
New York Post columnist Karol Markowicz pointed out that Darcy’s comments sound as if he’s calling Fox News the “enemy of the American people,” which liberals have slammed Trump for saying about them.
As much as the so-called mainstream media hated that designation, their actions make the statement more and more true by the day.
They want the American people to get a uniform message of propaganda.
Fox News is the gadfly to their plans.
Darcy needs to look in the mirror when he talks about feeding “poison” to the American people.
