CNN is the central nervous system of the anti-Trump brigade.
The network has devolved into a 24-hour rage machine against Donald Trump.
And one CNN anchor stunningly admitted why he’s scared of Trump winning in 2020.
A study from 2017 showed that over 93% of the coverage on the major networks was negative toward Donald Trump.
At CNN, that number is probably approaching 100%.
CNN boss Jeff Zucker has openly declared war on Trump, telling his hosts to hammer Trump impeachment stories while neglecting real news.
One of Zucker’s faithful soldiers is opinion anchor Don Lemon.
Since Trump has taken office, Lemon has been one of his most outlandish critics.
He’s gone on unhinged rants where he called Trump a white supremacist, and he laughed when guests made racist comments about black Trump supporters like Kanye West.
Lemon has positioned himself as a #Resistance hack, but recently made a surprising admission.
During a segment on his show, Lemon showed concern over the impeachment process.
He said, “The president’s campaign manager says that they had a $3 million haul on the day of the House impeachment inquiry vote…And with Americans pretty much split right down the middle on whether he should be impeached and removed from office, well, this president may be stronger than you think.”
Lemon’s fears are warranted.
Despite an endless barrage of negative Trump talk and pro-impeachment rhetoric by big media, those in favor of impeachment versus those who oppose it are at a tight 49% and 47% respectively.
And according to the polls, impeachment is under water with independent voters.
It gets worse.
When interviewed, voters in early primary states were far less concerned with impeachment than those in big media.
As Lemon pointed out, impeachment has been a great fundraising issue for Trump.
And Trump is wildly outpacing the Democrats when it comes to fundraising.
He also has a much better digital campaign apparatus than any of the Democrats.
Part of the reason why is because Trump, Republicans, and conservatives have a sense of humor.
They understand the power of comedy, something the left used to understand.
But wokeness has killed comedy on the left, so Democrats have no idea how to create engagement online.
Elizabeth Warren desperately announced a plan to combat Trump’s hilarious twitter feed with dull, focus group-tested memes, which will surely be cringeworthy.
Trump also has a strong economy to run on.
And while Lemon’s allies at CNN like Brian Stelter downplay the death of ISIS’s leader, who was an “austere religious scholar” according to the Washington Post, it’s still another feather in Trump’s cap.
Lemon is right that the President is stronger than his viewers think.
It’s almost as if he’s preparing them for Trump’s re-election, something that seems unfathomable if all you watch is CNN’s propaganda.
Lemon and other liberal hosts are starting to see the writing on the wall.
