Democrats are trying to take out Fox News host Tucker Carlson yet again.
But Carlson continues to draw massive ratings despite his far-left critics.
Now one Carlson guest shredded the fake news media’s lies about one teenager.
Democrats finally have been forced to reckon with the far-left domestic terrorism that has befallen many cities across the country.
Several Democrat-run cities have turned into war zones as rioters and looters have been emboldened and politicians have sat on their hands.
In Minneapolis, Mayor Jacob Frey and Governor Tim Walz ceded a police precinct to Antifa rioters and watched it burn.
In Seattle, Mayor Jenny Durkan allowed Antifa to take over six downtown city blocks and declare it an autonomous zone.
And in Portland, mayor Ted Wheeler has allowed his city to become the home base of domestic terror.
This capitulation to the mob has only emboldened them.
Violent attacks have become more vicious and more frequent.
The escalation has forced law-abiding citizens to defend themselves because the politicians have shown a reluctance.
But the disturbing trend is to vilify the people who actually do defend themselves against violent attacks.
Such is the case with 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Rittenhouse was attacked by three violent Black Lives Matter rioters, who were all convicted felons.
Rittenhouse was arrested for warding them off with a rifle.
For that reason, the so-called mainstream media have labeled Rittenhouse a white supremacist and right-wing terrorist.
There is absolutely zero evidence Rittenhouse is an extremist; the Anti-Defamation League found that his social media footprint showed no traces of any hateful views.
Rittenhouse’s lawyer, John Pierce, went on Tucker Carlson’s show and set the record straight.
Pierce said:
“Kyle actually took a first-aid kit downtown because he was concerned that there would be wounded protesters downtown. And, in fact, he took a firearm because Kenosha had become a war zone. Any sensible person would take that. And him and his friends stayed on the process and protected that property. And then some events started to unfold whereby he was trying to treat, medically, wounded protesters. And ultimately, he got trapped out on the street out in the open because the riot police had moved the line far enough down that they were between himself and that premises.”
Pierce’s account of the events jibe with the New York Times’s timeline based on various angles of cell phone camera footage.
Rittenhouse’s lawyers also claim he was working as a lifeguard in Kenosha that day and didn’t transport the rifle across state lines.
The left’s condemnation of Rittenhouse has been swift and severe, yet they’ve cozied up to radicals and adopted their language.
It’s chilling to think what would happen if the far left were finally able to seize power.
Self-defense would suddenly become a partisan issue.
Rioting and looting would be considered justly because communities are getting their payback for systemic racism.
But people like the McCloskeys in St. Louis who defended their property from trespassers would be criminals.
