At the same time William Barr was setting up an anti-Semitism summit, MSNBC was conspiring against him.
Without a thought about the ethicality of their behavior, they prepared to run a story to smear the Attorney General.
And now that it’s out, William Barr should sue MSNC for running this undeniably false story about him.
You might think William Barr wouldn’t have a case to sue MSNBC – until you consider anything they say about him and his job as the Attorney General could be labeled as slander.
And that’s what it looks like we’re dealing with here.
MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough claimed that Barr is shamefully selling out to Trump and isn’t acting in a non-partisan capacity while serving as the President’s lead law enforcement official.
On his show, “Morning Joe,” Scarborough said it was disgusting how Barr has disgraced himself before the President.
“He’s shameful,” Scarborough said.
“He and [Secretary of State, Mike] Pompeo and a few others, they’re acting like Seb Gorka and if that’s how they want their children and grandchildren to remember them that’s how they’ll be remembered.”
“There’s not really much of a line right now between the behavior of Seb Gorka and Trump’s latest attorney general.”
What’s really going on here is Scarborough, like the rest of the left-leaning media, is throwing a temper tantrum that Trump and Barr are upholding the law of the land.
Scarborough was likely reacting to the recent executive order Trump passed that allowed for an accurate census to be taken of the country.
This, on top of how Barr has recused himself from some cases relating to Trump, has them all in a tizzy.
And the media is still acting injured because Barr didn’t act out their fantasies and use the Mueller report as a weapon against the President.
So anytime Scarborough and his cronies on MSNBC (like Rachel Maddow) spout off nonsensical statements about Barr’s “criminal connection to Trump,” they’re basically committing slander.
Not that Barr has the time to bother himself with their errant insults while they spin their wheels and try to tie loose connections together like crazed conspiracy theorists.
Barr is too busy doing real work, work that protects the United States of America… unlike what took place under the Obama administration.
Who can forget when Eric Holder worked with Obama and the two were harbingers of miscarriages of justice?
All you need to do is say “Fast and Furious” and you’ll recall that Obama and Holder both allowed for the sale of illegal guns to criminal cartels (that eventually were instrumental in the slayings of border patrol agents) to be reminded just how corrupt a relationship between an Attorney General and a President can be.
At the end of the day, the Democrats can’t say Barr is a criminal, so they try and slander him.
But they should be careful – because when Barr and Trump are out of office, the statute of limitations won’t be up and they’ll probably have the basis for a lawsuit.
