CNN is dedicated to taking down Donald Trump.
They’ve committed an obscene amount of air time going after Trump.
Now CNN’s Jim Acosta attacked Trump again and immediately regretted it.
CNN boss Jeff Zucker admittedly has a vendetta against Donald Trump.
Investigative journalist outfit Project Veritas recorded Zucker instructing his employees to focus on anti-Trump news stories.
Studies have shown that over 90% of the network’s coverage of Trump has been negative.
One of the most obnoxious Trump critics at the network is White House reporter Jim Acosta.
Acosta is so notorious for his grandstanding, even former colleagues of his have decried his actions on social media.
And Acosta was again up to his old tricks during a press briefing on Trump’s tour to India.
Acosta used the opportunity to ask a ridiculous and unrelated question about the 2020 election.
He asked, “Can you pledge to the American people that you will not accept any foreign assistance in the upcoming election?”
Trump wasn’t having any of Acosta’s self-aggrandizement.
“First of all, I want no help from any country,” Trump responded, “and I haven’t been given help from any country and if you see what CNN, your wonderful network, said, I guess they apologized in a way for — didn’t they apologize for the fact that they said certain things that weren’t true? Tell me, what was their apology yesterday? What did they say?”
Trump was referring to a CNN report that admitted deep state actors overstated the influence of Russian interference in the upcoming 2020 election.
Acosta ignored Trump’s rebuke and interrupted, “Mr. President, I think our record on delivering the truth is a lot better than yours sometimes, if you don’t mind me saying.”
Trump immediately fired back, “Let me tell you about your record, your record is so bad you ought to be ashamed of yourself…You have the worst record in the history of broadcasting.”
As Trump pointed out, CNN’s record over the past few years is laughably bad.
Three CNN journalists resigned after they were forced to retract a false report about former White House staffer Anthony Scaramucci being under investigation.
Project Veritas also got hosts and producers to admit on camera that the Russiagate hoax they pushed for years was a “nothing-burger.”
CNN threatened to doxx a private citizen for making a humorous meme of Trump body-slamming a wrestler with a CNN logo on his head.
CNN’s failures have also extended to the absurd.
Host Chris Cuomo argued that calling an Italian person Fredo (a character from “The Godfather”) was the same as calling a black person “the n-word.”
Host Don Lemon once questioned if Malaysian Flight 370 that vanished could’ve been swallowed by a black hole.
CNN has become a laughing stock, and Acosta reminded everybody why.
They’re more concerned with pushing an agenda than reporting the news.
That’s why they find themselves sinking in the ratings behind Nickelodeon reruns.
