MSNBC is in full-blown panic mode.
The so-called moderate Democrats at the network are engaged in a battle with the wild-eyed socialists.
Now one far-left MSNBC analyst trashed the American Revolution with one disgusting smear.
Half of MSNBC is panicked that Donald Trump will win reelection in November.
They believe life-long communist Bernie Sanders has the inside track to the Democratic nomination, and will get trounced in the general election.
But the other half of MSNBC is comprised of socialists and fellow travelers who are enamored with Sanders’s communist message.
Sanders has never met a communist dictator he didn’t like, and recently reaffirmed his affection for the brutal regime of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.
Sanders half-heartedly condemned the authoritarianism of the regime, but hailed its literacy program.
Because according to Sanders, forcing the citizenry to read communist propaganda is a laudable achievement.
Sanders was given every opportunity to walk back his disgusting Cuba comments, but refused.
And far-left MSNBC analyst Eddie Glaude rushed to Sanders’s defense.
In doing so, he compared the American Revolution to Castro’s brutal Cuban Revolution:
“If we’re to talk about revolution in the way in which we’re talking about complexity, are we going to deny the significance of French Revolution because of Robespierre? Are we going to deny the significance of the American Revolution because it reconciled with slavery? In other words, revolutions are complex.”
This is an asinine statement.
First of all, the French Revolution was a bloody nightmare that appalled philosophers like Thomas Jefferson and British statesman Edmund Burke.
And the founders created the Constitution, which would ultimately undo the institution of slavery that had been around since the dawn of civilization.
Conversely, the Cuban revolution wasn’t about achieving independence.
It was about installing socialism, which was a fancy new way of enslaving people.
Human rights were immediately quashed.
Thousands and thousands risked death on rickety boats to flee from the Castro regime.
Castro’s goons tried to sink boats leaving the prison island by dropping sandbags on them from helicopters.
All the while, free elections were suspended, and Castro was worth nearly $1 billion when he died.
But people like Glaude at MSNBC continue to believe in this discredited, evil, murderous ideology responsible for over 100 million deaths in peacetime since 1917.
The fact that Sanders is about to be a major party nomination should scare everyone, and it’s certainly scaring some at MSNBC.
“Hardball” host Chris Matthews has unleashed blistering attacks on Sanders and his socialist agenda.
Matthews remembers the Cold War and the atrocities committed by the communists on multiple continents.
More and more Democrats are just now starting to realize that Sanders is a full-fledged communist with terrible ideas, but it may be too late to stop him.
Fortunately for America, Donald Trump is waiting to deliver the knockout punch in the general election.
But it’s sad that the Democrats have let an avowed communist skate by for so long.
It’s a clear example of the party’s dangerous hard-left turn.
