House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff confidently took up the impeachment fight.
Schiff and other Democrats bought into the fake and corrupt news media narrative that the phony Ukraine scandal represented a breaking point in the Trump Presidency.
But then Adam Schiff got smacked with one rude awakening that killed impeachment for good.
Impeachment is wildly popular among the Democrats and the fake news media.
The Amazon Washington Post published a story about Democrats building support for impeachment just 17 minutes after Donald Trump was inaugurated January 20, 2017.
And on Twitter – where journalists spend all day – impeachment is a hot topic of discussion.
So-called “reporters” parse every development in this manufactured “scandal” and spin narratives that President Trump’s impeachment is all-consuming and that all Americans agree Congress should remove Trump from office.
But outside of Twitter and the liberal enclaves of New York City and Washington, D.C. – where most journalists are based – real Americans dismiss this as typical Washington nonsense.
The Atlantic’s Edward-Isaac Dovere ventured to Iowa where a major gathering of 13 Democrat Presidential candidates took place.
This event, held at the Jefferson-Jackson dinner, is a crucial milestone during Democrat Presidential primaries.
Back in 2007, a then-Senator Barack Obama delivered a speech that propelled his candidacy to victory in the Iowa caucuses and eventually the Presidency.
And what Isaac Dovere found was that the Democrat candidates avoided the word impeachment at all costs.
Isaac Dovere reported:
“Yet of the 13 candidates there, just one mentioned impeachment: Tom Steyer, the billionaire activist whose political group and TV ads over the past two years have helped mainstream the idea of removing the president. Steyer argues that his long record of being outspoken in favor of impeachment is a key part of why people should support his candidacy, yet his mention of impeachment Friday night got a warm but not overwhelming response. For the rest, despite all their Trump bashing that the crowd ate up—starting with Iowa Democratic Party Chair Troy Price’s introduction with “Let’s beat Donald Trump and send his ass back to Russia!”—impeachment was absent.
State Party leaders in Iowa applauded this strategy.
““Was that the right call?” I asked Janet Petersen, the leader of the Democrats in the state Senate, at the end of the night. “Probably,” she said. Iowans care about impeachment, and are paying attention to the national-security and economic-security issues at stake, “but that doesn’t prevent them from paying attention to things that matter, like paying for preschool,”” Isaac Dovere reported.
Outside of the liberal political bubble, few Americans give impeachment much thought.
Polling in battleground states show a majority of voters oppose impeaching and removing the President from office.
Most so-called “journalism” today consists of Brooklyn or D.C.-based “reporters” sitting in their apartments and “analyzing” what they think voters feel about an issue.
Isaac Dovere performed actual on-the-ground journalism and what he found completely contradicted the conventional wisdom of the fake and corrupt news media.
Liberal Propaganda Exposed will continue to cover any new developments in this ongoing story.
