The so-called mainstream media is lashing out at Donald Trump like a wounded animal.
They’re losing credibility by the minute as more and more people realize they’re nothing more than propagandists.
And now big media refuses to admit Trump was right about one dangerous phenomenon.
Many cities across the country have been engulfed in flames in light of the George Floyd protests.
Radical leftists like the terror group Antifa have been using Floyd’s murder to push their ideological agenda on the rest of the country, which is radical “change.”
They’re never too specific about what that change is because they know the American people wouldn’t be on board if they knew.
These activists want socialism, but first they have to tear down the country figuratively and literally.
Leftists promote anti-Americanism in all walks of life including tearing down statues.
Even statues of Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant, the two men most responsible for destroying the Confederacy, have had their statues under assault.
Trump predicted this Maoist cultural revolution three years ago and the media scoffed.
Now they owe him an apology.
After controversy revolving around the Robert E. Lee statue in Charlottesville in 2017, Trump said, “This week, it is Robert E. Lee. I noticed that Stonewall Jackson is coming down…I wonder, is it George Washington next week? And is it Thomas Jefferson the week after? You know, you really do have to ask yourself, where does it stop?”
In response to Trump’s statement, American Civil War historian Kevin Levin said, “The president can raise the slippery slope, but it’s a false slippery slope.”
Far-left New York Times columnist Jamelle Bouie wrote, “So Trump’s comparison there is dumb. It doesn’t really even make any sense. And the notion that there’s some slippery slope is dumb.”
Harvard history professor Annette Gordon-Reed wrote, “There is a crucial difference between leaders like Washington and Jefferson, imperfect men who helped create the United States…and Confederate generals like Jackson and Lee, whose main historical significance is that they took up arms against it.”
Once again, Trump was proven right and the elite class was wrong.
Over the past few weeks, the following statues have been pulled down or vandalized across the west: Abraham Lincoln, Christopher Columbus, Ulysses S. Grant, Thomas Jefferson, Saint Junipero Serra, Francis Scott Key, and Winston Churchill.
These purges of history inspired by “1984” are truly terrifying because the endgame is the total erasure of history.
The Times has already bent the knee to wokeness. Hannah Nikole-Jones, who won a Pulitzer Prize for her discredited view of American history, is essentially running the “paper of record.”
Despite the best efforts of the far left, most Americans still love this country.
The problem is that it’s become dangerous to express that opinion because the left controls so many institutions, particularly big media.
More people have to push back against the leftist narrative or else the radicals will go unopposed.
