The left has spent decades demonizing Clarence Thomas.
Their latest insult left Americans seeing red.
Clarence Thomas was just hit with a slap in the face that no one could believe.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
PBS recently released a well-received documentary about the life of Clarence Thomas called “Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words.”
In the 2021 media landscape, content needs access to streaming platforms to attract a wider audience.
And Amazon hosted the film for some time.
But Amazon recently canceled the movie and yanked it off the platform despite it being Black History Month and the movie told the story of the life of one of the most consequential black Americans in the nation’s history.
“Recently, Amazon Prime dropped Created Equal: Clarence Thomas in His Own Words, an acclaimed and popular PBS documentary on Justice Clarence Thomas, making it unavailable to stream during Black History Month. Thomas is our nation’s only black justice currently serving on the U.S. Supreme Court, and one would think that between Amazon’s claim to ‘building an inclusive culture’ and the fact that it’s Black History Month, Amazon would want to stream this inspiring documentary on its platform,” Mark Paoletta of Breitbart wrote.
Paoletta noted that Amazon left-wing movies about Thurgood Marshall—the nation’s first black Supreme Court Justice and whose seat Thomas filled—as well as Anita Hill—who falsely accused Thomas of sexual harassment and threw Thomas’ confirmation hearing into chaos—were up on their platform.
“There are scores of films available to stream, including four films available on the Amazon Prime site to stream (two docudramas and two documentaries) on Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall, a liberal icon and our nation’s first black Supreme Court justice. There are even two films (one docudrama and one documentary) on Anita Hill, who came forward during Thomas’ confirmation hearing to claim that Thomas had sexually harassed her,” Paoletta said.
Thomas’s extraordinary life story is worthy of celebration.
Clarence Thomas attended Yale University after being born into a poor family and his father left when he was two years old.
Thomas went to live with his grandfather who had no formal education but built a small delivery business.
In his youth Thomas dabbled in radical left-wing politics, even sympathizing with the Black Panthers before turning to conservatism.
Thomas’s life story, personal success and conservative philosophy serve as a living, breathing rejection of the left’s contention that America is systemically racist and that black Americans cannot succeed unless Democrats impose socialism to equal the playing fields.
The threat Thomas posed is why the left tried to destroy Thomas with the Anita Hill smear campaign in 1991.
And it likely explains why the radical leftists that exercise control over the content that streams on Amazon Prime yanked “Created Equal.”
