CNN has been more dishonest than usual over the past few months.
The network has been fanning the flames of far-left violence that’s befallen many cities across the country.
Now one CNN host got caught in a lie when trying to walk-back one insane statement.
CNN host Don Lemon routinely embarrasses himself on the air.
He once asked if a black hole swallowed a Malaysian flight that went missing.
Lemon stepped in it again when he said that Democrats will have to “blow up the entire system” if Donald Trump nominates a Justice to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Lemon also advocated for abolishing the electoral college.
After being met with a backlash of criticism, Lemon walked-back his comments and said they were taken out of context.
The problem for Lemon is that he made his ridiculous comments on live television.
During a cross talk with fellow host Chris Cuomo, their conversation played out as follows:
LEMON: We’re going to have to blow up the entire system. And you know what we’re going to have to do?
CUOMO: I don’t know about that.
LEMON: Yes. We’re going to have to do?
CUOMO: You just got to vote.
LEMON: Honestly, from what your closing argument is, you’re going to have to get rid of the Electoral College.
Lemon tried justify the comments by saying:
I was responding to you when you said we want people with integrity in office. And I said, “Well, then we have to blow up the whole system. Right?” But – and I said man, here’s what Democrats can do. And I said, “That’s the danger.” They can stack the court. But all of a sudden, I am calling for the abolishing of the Electoral College. And what else did they say? That I’m a Democrat because I said “we.” I mean, the American people. But anyway.
Perhaps the most galling part of Lemon’s statement is that he’s still pretending to be an objective journalist.
Everybody knows CNN leans to the left.
They’re not supposed to be an opinion network, but magically, all of their opinions skew to the left.
This isn’t the first time Lemon has flirted with radical rhetoric.
At the beginning of the George Floyd riots, he made excuses for the violence that was taking place across the nation.
The over-the-top rhetoric of Lemon and other members of the corporate press has real consequences.
In Atlanta, which is the headquarters for CNN, Black Lives Matter extremists killed an 8-year-old girl because her mother accidentally pulled into a parking lot that had been “occupied” by the far-left group.
Recently, Lemon acknowledged that the rioting and looting was a problem for Democrats electorally, but he just couldn’t help himself.
He’s back to condoning radical leftism.
Democrats are actively talking about destroying the country if they don’t get what they want.
That reason alone should be enough for voters to deny them power.
