The coup against Donald Trump continues.
Democrats in the media class are over the moon about the impeachment inquiry against the President.
But Democrats just shockingly admitted their true intent behind impeachment.
The Atlantic is one of the major publications of the #Resistance movement against Trump.
Not only did they fire conservative writer Kevin Williamson ten minutes after hiring him due to outrage over his pro-life stance, the outlet’s brain trust includes people like unhinged Never-Trumper and war hawk David Frum.
Assistant editor Elaine Godfrey recently wrote a piece for the publication where she spoke to Democrat voters about the impeachment hearings… and their answers were just about the only honesty coming from Democrats during the proceedings.
While voters talked about impeachment being necessary to uphold the rule of law, they eventually admitted the truth about the inquiry.
In reality, Democrats couldn’t care less about the democratic process and rule of law.
They casually toss aside those principles whenever it suits them.
The real reason behind the impeachment inquiry is to damage Trump for 2020.
“The focus right now isn’t so much on removal itself, but more on the 2020 election,” said Mason Hill, a 22-year-old Washington, D.C., resident, the day before. It’s “to paint a picture [of the president] in the general public’s mind.”
They’re concerned he’s going to win again in 2020 and they’re using literally everything at their disposal to stop him.
Godfrey spoke to many others with similar sentiments.
Her piece continued:
“But over and over again, they told me the process isn’t about impeachment itself; it’s about getting out the truth about Trump—about gathering all possible ammunition to use against him in 2020. Democrats are hoping that undecided or unengaged voters will be persuaded by what they’ve learned and inspired to vote against Trump.”
Democrats are all about narrative. They’re always weak on facts and figures, so they try to manipulate people with emotional pleas instead.
Several Democrats have compared the impeachment process to a gripping Netflix series.
The Democrats know that even if they vote for impeachment in the House, there’s a zero percent chance Trump is removed by the GOP-controlled Senate.
Even a Never-Trump traitor like Mitt Romney wouldn’t vote for removal from office.
The impeachment charade was about harming Trump in 2020 all along.
But Democrats are losing on multiple fronts.
Support for impeachment is dwindling among early primary voters, a truth that MSNBC’s Chuck Todd begrudgingly admitted.
The Democrat primary campaigns have been a clown show where the candidates take turns hewing to the far left or pretending to be the sensible moderate in the race.
Meanwhile, they can’t run against Trump on any substantive issues like the economy.
Hampering Trump with scandal after scandal has been the Democrat strategy since his inauguration, but even that underhanded tactic is still failing.
