The American people still don’t know who won the presidential election.
Mail-in voting turned out to be the fiasco conservatives expected.
But Fox News did something on Election Night that made Republicans furious.
The results of the 2020 election are still unknown.
The so-called mainstream media had the election pegged completely wrong.
They promised a Joe Biden double-digit landslide in the popular vote and a comfortable lead in all the swing states.
All the networks had it wrong, but Fox News had a particularly bad night.
Despite an insurmountable lead for Trump in Florida, Fox News refused to call the state for him.
But Fox then called Arizona for Joe Biden unbelievably early, a decision that made no sense.
Trump ended up winning Florida by over 3 points, meanwhile, Arizona’s margin is razor-thin with Biden’s lead dwindling by the hour.
Even CNN and the New York Times didn’t call Arizona for Biden so quickly.
Arizona governor Doug Ducey said, “Election Day votes are not fully reported, and we haven’t even started to count early ballots dropped off at the polls…In AZ, we projected Election Day. Let’s count the votes—all the votes—before making declarations.”
Trump senior campaign adviser Jason Miller was even stronger in his rebuke of Fox and tweeted:
“We believe over 2/3 of those outstanding Election Day voters are going to be for Trump. Can’t believe Fox was so anxious to pull the trigger here after taking so long to call Florida. Wow.”
Some Republicans in Arizona were so disturbed, they gathered outside a polling station and chanted, “Fox News sucks!”
Even liberal pollster Nate Silver, who had a disastrous night predicting the election, said Fox News needed to retract their call for Biden.
Silver wrote, “I don’t know, I guess I’d say that Biden will win Arizona if you forced me to pick, but I sure as heck don’t think the state should have been called by anyone, and I think the calls that were previously made should be retracted now.”
The unbelievably late call for Florida and the absurdly early call for Biden was a terrible look for Fox News.
They still haven’t retracted their call of Arizona for Joe Biden.
Many Republicans have worried that Fox News has been trending in a less conservative direction.
Outside of the primetime opinion hosts, Fox has plenty of on-air liberals – including former CNN analyst Donna Brazile who helped rig the 2016 primary for Hillary Clinton.
Soros has been installing far-left prosecutors all over the country that have allowed Antifa and Black Lives Matter violence to spread, but he’s not allowed to be critiqued on Fox.
And Fox anchor Chris Wallace put on a disgraceful performance as moderator in the first presidential debate.
Fox News did not support Trump in 2016, and they could be moving away from him now.
