Liberals are again at war with Chick-Fil-A.
The popular fast food restaurant is under constant assault from unhinged far-left activists.
And now liberals are trying to use one ridiculous excuse to ban Chick-Fil-A.
Purdue University is the latest college to attack Chick-Fil-A, the most popular and fastest growing fast-food chain in the country.
The chain had pop-up locations on campus three days a week and was looking to expand with a permanent franchise there.
However, gay activists among the faculty and student body are pushing to block the move.
The Courier, the school’s newspaper, reports that these far-left activists threatened that “the university needed to reacclimate itself with the proper way to treat its LGBT students and staff.”
This salvo by the activists goes back to the false claim that Chick-Fil-A discriminates against gay people.
CEO Dan Cathy is a devout Christian who believes in traditional marriage and donated money to traditional marriage causes.
For that reason, militant activists have been going after Chick-Fil-A for nearly a decade.
The restaurant has been banned from many college campuses and airports, and new locations have been boycotted against.
Also, the liberal media dogpiles on.
For example, liberal outlets lamented the fact Chick-Fil-A opened in New York City after popular demand.
In the case of Purdue, leftists are trying to use Chick-Fil-A as an excuse to grab more power.
Activists are proposing a measure that would allow them to ensure that businesses on campus “uphold the same values and promote inclusivity with their policies, hiring practices and actions.”
These are the strongarm tactics the left uses to impose their identity politics onto businesses.
The language is always overly broad, which gives them latitude to use exert control in a number of ways.
So it should come as no surprise that this is happening at Purdue.
Back in 2017, Dr. Donna Riley, the newly-appointed Dean of the School of Engineering, pledged to fundamentally transform the engineering curricula by focusing on “social responsibility, de-centering Western civilization” and “uncovering contributions of women and other underrepresented groups.”
This is blatant Marxist language.
The STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) were once thought to be safe from the far-left.
But they are now making a strong push to hollow out STEM the same way they’ve hollowed out literature, education, psychology, and other liberal arts and social sciences.
It’s no wonder Purdue is attempting to block Chick-Fil-A outright.
The left is on the warpath and the best way to stop them is to highlight their lunacy and speak up.
People are sick and tired of the non-stop liberal propaganda that’s corrupting news, entertainment, and education.
The left depends on people not seeing what they’re doing.
But when their radical tactics are exposed, they lose power.
