The sham impeachment of Donald Trump has been a huge loser for the Democrats.
Their attempts to overturn the results of the 2016 election have failed.
And one MSNBC host unleashed a sickening attack on Republicans to defend impeachment.
The Democrats’ impeachment gambit is essentially over.
They pulled every dirty trick in the book to oust Trump from office.
A deep state official in the Obama administration coordinated with a former fellow staffer—who currently works on Adam Schiff’s staff—to lodge a whistleblower complaint against Trump in order to trigger impeachment.
The plan had allegedly been in the works for years.
Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats only allowed for a narrow breadth of witnesses, who didn’t even help their case, then absurdly held onto the articles of impeachment for weeks before sending then over to the Senate.
The idiotic delay undercut their case that impeachment was an urgent matter.
Then the Democrats called for more witnesses in the Senate even though they claimed they’d made their case against Trump.
They wanted more witnesses so long as their names weren’t Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, Adam Schiff, or alleged whistleblower Eric Ciaramella.
Those witnesses under oath could be incredibly damaging for the Democrats.
Instead, the Democrats put their desperate hopes on former National Security Advisor John Bolton.
But Bolton’s testimony won’t make the Democrats’ case for removal because National Security Council top aide Fiona Hill already testified that Bolton didn’t believe there was a quid pro quo deal.
That hasn’t stopped the Democrat Media Complex from going all-in on Bolton as the white knight who will topple Trump.
MSNBC host Chris Matthews desperately tried to make that point.
Matthews argued Republicans were scared of Bolton and said, “[T]hey’re like the North Korean Army in the Korean War– charge without rifles. They don’t even have weapons. They just come out, ‘Take me, take me. I’m willing to say anything for this president’…”
It’s disgusting to compare Republican senators to soldiers in an authoritarian regime that’s literally running concentration camps to this day.
Democrats love to make these absurd comparisons to the GOP, but it’s the left that believes in the ideals that created the totalitarian hellscapes of the 20th century.
This isn’t even the first time Matthews has compared Republicans to North Koreans.
In 2017, after Trump passed his tax bill, he said the White House celebration reminded him of “a North Korean parade.”
Never mind the fact that the tax cuts breathed life into the economy and put more money in the hands of American citizens.
Matthews would be the first to balk if Republicans compared New York legislators’ celebration of passing a radical pro-abortion law to a North Korean parade.
Matthews has made the terrible analogy several other times.
The great irony is North Korea is the last surviving Stalinist state, and it was the left in America that created propaganda on behalf of Stalin.
Perhaps Matthews should look within his own party, because multiple Bernie Sanders staffers have been caught on camera making apologetics for the Soviet Union.
