Democrats are on a crusade to take Fox News host Tucker Carlson off the air.
They can’t stand the fact that he’s popular, so they want him silenced.
Now Carlson is calling out the Democrats for the gigantic lie they told about one growing crisis.
Illegal immigration is one of the biggest problems America faces today.
For decades, liberals claimed there were “only” 10 million illegal aliens in the country, a number that mysteriously remained static for years.
But a recent study from Yale, not exactly a haven of conservative thought, put the estimate at around 22 million.
That’s a jaw-dropping number that has all types of ramifications for the country.
However, Democrats don’t want honest discussion on the topic, so they try to shut down anyone who broaches the subject.
That’s why they hate Tucker Carlson so much.
He’s been vocal in his opposition to unfettered illegal immigration.
During a radio interview, Carlson pointed out the massive lie Democrats are telling about illegal immigration:
“One of the most amazing kind of acts of magic I have seen conducted in my lifetime is the transformation of what is basically an economic question — who lives in you county and what are their wages? — into this fake civil rights issue.”
Carlson is correct.
This is a tactic used by the left to exploit Americans’ goodwill and sensitivity toward civil rights.
Everyone deserves human rights, but civil rights are for citizens of a country.
Someone who entered America illegally yesterday does not have a right to stay in the country.
They have no grievances in terms of civil rights movements of the 19th and 20th centuries.
Democrats’ dishonesty on the issue has been made abundantly clear because they’ve flip-flopped over the years.
Democrats used to be hawkish on immigration because it depressed the wages of American workers.
Now they’re making a different calculation.
They realize they need more migrants to win elections.
First-time immigrant voters and American-born children of illegal aliens vote Democrat 80% of the time.
This number evens out over multiple generations, which is why the Democrats constantly need to import new voters.
This strategy has allowed them to flip some reliably red states, and their crown jewel is Texas.
If Texas goes blue, the electoral map will be bleak for Republicans.
That’s why the illegal immigration issue is so crucial.
Carlson knows this and isn’t afraid to call it out.
This is particularly dangerous as the Democrats slide further and further left.
Many illegal aliens flooding into the country are from quasi-socialist or outright socialist countries, and they have no concept of American principles such as limited government.
Not to mention anti-American rhetoric has spun out of control.
Allowing the left to police language on immigration is having a damaging effect on the country.
Until illegal immigration is framed around the economic implications, as Carlson points out, Democrats will keep falsely using the civil rights argument to tug at Americans’ heart strings.
