The so-called mainstream media wants a pound of flesh from Donald Trump.
They’re pulling out all the stops to damage Trump before the general election.
But one White House doctor shut down a CNN host with one sentence.
The goal of the corporate press is to scandalize everything Donald Trump says or does.
Last week during a coronavirus press briefing, Trump made off-the-cuff remarks relaying information he’d heard about disinfectant and UV rays killing the virus.
That was misconstrued by the media that Trump was advising people to drink bleach to cure the virus.
The media are playing the worst game of ‘telephone’ ever.
The New York Daily News even ran a story that suggested calls to poison control had increased because of Trump’s briefing. Of course, it was totally fake news.
The mainstream press fought tooth and nail to keep the story in the news cycle until White House coronavirus task force member Dr. Deborah Birx finally had enough.
During an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper, Tapper tried to badger Dr. Birx regarding the disinfectant controversy.
Dr. Birx said, “Well, I think it bothers me that this is still in the news cycle, because I think we’re missing the bigger pieces of what we need to be doing as an American people, to continue to protect one another…”
Again, the objective of the media is to generate scandal, not report the news.
For example, Trump’s comments about UV rays being administered inside the body are based in science.
The publicly traded company, Aytu BioScience, partnered with Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles on a new technology that would employ UV catheters to be injected into the body in order to kill viruses.
Davey Alba, a tech reporter for the New York Times, got the Aytu video regarding the UV treatment pulled from YouTube simply to discredit Trump’s comments.
Alba bragged about her achievement on Twitter, but she was badly ratioed.
Ultimately, YouTube put the video back up because Aytu and Cedars Sinai are about as credible as it gets in the field, but politically motivated gatekeepers at YouTube do have the power to censor news.
YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki had previously stated that YouTube would take down any videos that did not comport with the World Health Organization on the coronavirus, the same organization that told the world the virus wasn’t spread by human to human contact.
Unsurprisingly, Dr. Birx is now catching flak from the left because she’s not jumping on the bandwagon to bash Trump.
The corporate press is the enemy of the American people.
They don’t want the best minds in the White House working on combating the illness.
They want a circus act so they can gain political power.
Democrats have begged for years for the economy to tank in order to weaken Trump’s reelection chances.
The pandemic has given them their wish, and now they’re relishing in it.
