Tucker Carlson made many enemies ever since scoring a top-rated show on Fox News.
CNN, Democrat activists, and elected officials have all pressured Fox to shut him down.
And now Fox News just took Tucker Carlson off the air because of these four words.
During a broadcast after the shooting in El Paso where a racist targeted Mexicans, Tucker Carlson took on the liberal media narrative that Donald Trump inspired a white supremacist movement inside the United States that posed a grave threat to America’s national security.
“If you were to assemble a list, a hierarchy of concerns of problems this country faces, where would white supremacy be on the list? Right up there with Russia, probably. It’s actually not a real problem in America,” Carlson began.
Carlson added, “This is a hoax. Just like the Russia hoax. This is a conspiracy theory used to divide the country and keep a hold on power.”
Liberals promote the idea that America is a racist nation because it allows their political coalition to hang together despite the fact that the groups it consists of hold contradictory views on economics.
White liberals love the cheap labor that illegal immigration provides because it benefits the wealthy.
But illegal immigration also depresses the wages of black workers.
The only way this coalition can hold together is if the wealthy and powerful convince minority voters that they must unite against the supposed “white supremacy.”
Carlson defended his remarks on a subsequent broadcast.
“So we want to take a second to pass on a sincere message to official Washington, and particularly to our colleagues on the other cable news channels: Please, for the sake of the nation, calm down. Yes, America has problems. Racism is one of those problems. But so is a fading middle class, a terrifying drug epidemic, and a national debt that is growing by a trillion dollars a year,” Carlson stated.
Carlson continued, “People realize their country is declining, and it’s making them turn to new political leaders. Donald Trump was one of them. Elizabeth Warren and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are others. This is a time of frustration and it’s a time of change. This is a hard time for America. But America is not on the brink of genocide. It’s not even close. This is not a white supremacist country, plotting the slaughter its own people. It’s a kind country, full of decent people of all races who, who like all people everywhere, make bad decisions from time to time, but mean well and generally try their best.”
But it was not enough.
Carlson ended the show by announcing he was taking a vacation until August 19.
Fox News stated the vacation was preplanned.
But the network also claimed Bill O’Reilly was taking a preplanned vacation when controversy hit regarding payments O’Reilly had made to women who claimed he sexually harassed them.
O’Reilly never returned to the air and Fox News fired him.
Many loyal Fox viewers are worried Carlson could meet the same fate.
Liberal Propaganda Exposed will continue to cover any new developments in this ongoing story.
