The so-called mainstream media are on a mission to take down Donald Trump.
However, they treated Barack Obama with kid gloves for eight years.
Now the media are desperate to cover up one thing Barack Obama did.
It almost seems as if big media is trying to prove Trump right when he calls them the enemy of the American people.
The media have always been biased, but what they’ve become over the past three years is both despicable and terrifying.
The election of Donald Trump caused them to shed their veneer of objectivity and openly take up arms alongside the Democrat Party.
Since then, it’s been all-out war against Trump and Republicans.
The latest salvo comes in the form of a story from Agence France-Presse (AFP), which was circulated by Reuters, NPR, the Associated Press, and blue checkmark Twitter.
The report said that the Trump administration was responsible for 100,000 children in migrant-related detention.
The left went nuts.
Bernie Sanders even retweeted the story, saying it was “immoral.”
There’s just one problem.
The data collected for the report was from 2015, which obviously was during Obama’s second term in office.
Instead of attacking the Obama administration, these “objective” news organizations simply issued a retraction and a brief apology.
But if these detentions are so immoral and troubling, the stories should simply be edited to reflect that the source of their readership’s outrage is the Obama administration.
However, they would never do that because they’re partisan hacks who simply pretend to be objective journalists.
That’s why it resonates when Trump calls big media the enemy of the American people.
They’re trying to build a narrative, not inform the public.
They’re trying to tell you that everything Trump is doing is unprecedented and beyond the pale.
It’s all a giant lie.
Even worse, this is at least the third time the media, the Democrats and blue checkmark Twitter have had to deep-six a story regarding illegal immigration and detention.
The first came when images of migrant children in cages swept across Twitter.
But once it became known that the photo was from 2014, the image and story magically went away.
Perhaps the most comical retraction came from former Obama speechwriter Jon Favreau.
It’s pretty awkward when you accuse your old boss of crimes against humanity.
A similar situation occurred when a photo of migrant children wrapped in metal blankets went viral.
But that photo was from 2015, so it quickly went down the memory hole.
These acts are clear signs that the Democrats don’t care about migrant children, women, minorities, or any other group they claim to care about.
All they want is power, so they use victim groups as a cudgel against people on the right.
Now people are beginning to see just how fake the so-called mainstream media machine is.
