The after-effects from the horrific Capitol Hill riot are still reverberating.
Democrats are using the incident to brand all Republicans and conservatives as extremists.
Now The New York Times is pushing for a shocking new form of censorship.
Donald Trump’s ouster from every major social media network was not the endgame for Democrats.
The Democrat Media Complex won’t be satisfied until it’s regained control of the flow of information.
Twitter competitor Parler was already successfully nuked by tech giants Apple, Google, and Amazon, now CNN and other outlets are discussing removing Fox News from the airwaves.
But the left is voicing concern with other social media apps as well.
From The New York Times:
“The rise of Telegram and Signal could inflame the debate over encryption, which helps protect the privacy of people’s digital communications but can stymie the authorities in crime investigations because conversations are hidden. Any move to the apps by far-right groups in particular has worried U.S. authorities…”
The fact that a growing number of people no longer trust sites like Facebook and Twitter is problematic for the pro-censors.
In the run-up to the 2020 election, Facebook and Twitter suppressed the New York Post’s report that broke the news about Hunter Biden’s “laptop from hell.”
Twitter locked the Post out of their account and even barred the article from being shared via private message.
The New York Times continued:
“‘The proliferation of the encrypted platforms, where law enforcement can’t even monitor the rhetoric, does allow groups that have an ill intent to plan behind the curtain,’ said Louis Grever, head of the Association of State Criminal Investigative Agencies. Telegram has been particularly popular for those on the far right because it mimics social media.”
The corporate press is laying the pretense to increase surveillance on Americans.
Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez already blames Senator Ted Cruz of putting her life in danger because he voted against election certification until a full audit could be conducted.
Of course, the Democrats were perfectly fine with this political maneuver when Barbara Boxer did it in 2004.
Joe Biden called for unity in his inaugural address, but his actions belie his words.
If Telegram, Signal, or other apps gain too much momentum, there will be increased calls to regulate or monitor them.
All information must flow through the Democrat Media Complex.
