The horrific attack at the Capitol is still causing ripples in society.
Democrats and their friends in big tech have ramped up their censorship efforts in response.
And The New York Times told one unbelievable lie about the Capitol Hill riot.
Republicans and conservatives have always called out any violence committed by both left-wing and right-wing radicals.
However, the same cannot be said for the Democrats who often excuse, if not defend, their ideological cronies.
For example, many former Weather Underground terrorists – who engaged in mass bombing campaigns in the 1970s and early 1980s – can be found all over mainstream Democratic politics.
And now the Democrats are trying to fool the country into believing that they always denounce violence and it’s the Republicans who refuse to do so.
From The New York Times:
“Immediately after the attack on the U.S. Capitol, all corners of the political spectrum repudiated the mob of President Trump’s supporters. Yet within days, prominent Republicans, party officials, conservative media voices and rank-and-file voters began making a rhetorical shift to try to downplay the group’s violent actions.”
The Times’ definition of downplaying only underscores the hypocrisy of the left and their refusal to denounce the violence committed by Antifa and Black Lives Matter radicals over the summer.
The Times continued:
“In one of the ultimate don’t-believe-your-eyes moments of the Trump era, these Republicans have retreated to the ranks of misinformation, claiming it was Black Lives Matter protesters and far-left groups like Antifa who stormed the Capitol — in spite of the pro-Trump flags and QAnon symbology in the crowd. Others have argued that the attack was no worse than the rioting and looting in cities during the Black Lives Matter movement, often exaggerating the unrest last summer while minimizing a mob’s attempt to overturn an election.”
First, at least one left-wing agitator has been arrested for participating in the Capitol breach.
The Times is clearly downplaying what Americans watched unfold over the months following the death of George Floyd.
BLM riots caused $2 billion in property damage, resulted in dozens dead, and led to stochastic terror incidents in multiple cities.
It became common to see BLM extremists storm restaurants, demand fealty to their cause, and drum people out of public establishments.
These mobs even went into the suburbs and harassed neighborhoods at night.
Antifa terrorists literally executed people in the street and the so-called mainstream media wrote off the carnage as “mostly peaceful.”
Joe Biden called Antifa merely an “idea” and congressman Jerry Nadler called them a “myth.”
Democrats described the riots as the voices of the unheard while some excused the looting as a form of long overdue reparations.
The Democrats have no place to lecture anyone about inciting or excusing violence.
The Republicans have openly and repeatedly denounced the incident at Capitol Hill and Donald Trump called for peace numerous times both before and after the attack.
Yet he was still blackballed by all the major tech giants.
Meanwhile, Democrats continue to escalate their rhetoric and operate with impunity.
